 Basic Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Natural Science, Computational Sciences/Informatics, or related fields.

• experience in delivering solutions using agile methodology like Scrum is highly preferred

• Experience developing complex consumer facing software using Java and the JVM ecosystem.

• Experience with Spring frameworks (Boot, Integration, Batch, Security, Core)

•  Experience with JPA, Hibernate or similar persistence libraries.

• Experience with implementing/consuming REST and/or SOAP based APIs.

• Experience with message-driven architectures and messaging technologies like Kafka, ActiveMQ, RabbitMQ.

• Experience with UI development using GWT and/or Vaadin, or other UI libraries.

• Experience with build tools and version controls like Git/Subversion, Gradle/Maven, Teamcity/Jenkins.

• Experience with unit testing (JUnit, TestNG, Mockito) and Test Driven Development.

• The things that will give you an edge: Experience implementing single sign-on solutions (SAML, OAuth)Comfortable and capable working in a linux environment.

• Experience with various PaaS hosting solutions (AWS, Heroku, OpenShift).

• Experience building test, build and deployment automations. Proficiency writing SQL and working with relational databases.

• Strong knowledge of web application architecture.

• Experience developing in a modern JavaScript stack
